Timeline

Just so it's all in one place:

August 2006 - I started freshman year at Hillsdale, made WONDERFUL friends, and was introduced to Duke (then a sophomore) by my sister, Virginia

January 2007 - We had our first kiss and officially started dating!

November 2007 - We LOVE each other!

May 2009 - Duke graduated from Hillsdale

August 2009 - Duke started medical school at the University of Vermont!

May 2010 - I graduated from Hillsdale and got my first job in Vermont, 2 hours from where Duke is going to school

October 2010 - We got engaged at the top of the Empire State Building!!!

July 2011 - I quit my job, we got married at the beach in New Jersey (where Duke is from), and we start our five month journey of Duke's away rotations!

August 2011 - we move to Bangor, Maine for 6 weeks

September 2011 - we move to New Canaan, Connecticut for 6 weeks

November 2011 - we move to West Palm Beach, Florida for 6 weeks (by far the best rotation!)

January 2012 - we go to Park City, Utah on a ski vacation with friends, we found our first apartment together in Burlington, Vermont, and we made WONDERFUL friends who are a blessing straight from God.

February 2012 - I started my new job near our new apartment in Vermont! Also, 1/2 of our Vermont besties move to VT and it is purely providential. Thank you LORD for these new friends!

June 2012 - We took a month long trip all over Europe and had the time of our lives

Fall/Winter 2012 - Duke applied to Radiology Residency and started the (very long) interview trail

March 2013 - We found out Duke got his first choices for Residency - Intermountain Healthcare in Utah for a year of fun, then the University of Pennsylvania for five years of Interventional Radiology!

May 2013 - Duke graduated med school, I quit my job, we had many tearful goodbyes, and we started our roadtrip to Utah

June 2013 - We roadtripped out west and got settled in our new home in Salt Lake City! Duke started his intern year of residency, we made great friends in the program who, again, are a blessing STRAIGHT from God, and we had a great time exploring our new area

August 2013 - I started my new job in Utah! (That's three jobs in three years due to moving.....can't wait until our next move! :)

June 2014: We will be moving to Philly where Duke will start his radiology residency

Whew!!! That's a lot of stuff in a few years!
